Regional Law Society Wolf Theiss announced that Flaviu Nanu joined the firm as Counsel and Sebastian Botic as Associated Lawyer in the Real Estate, Energy and Infrastructure practices.
Flaviu Nanu also collaborated with Wolf Theiss between 2006 and 2008. He later served as Counsel at the White & Case Office of Real Estate and Energy in Romania and most recently became a Partner in a reputable Romanian society of lawyers. Flaviu has over 15 years of experience in the legal profession, within multiple areas of practice. He specializes in real estate, construction and energy, as well as on mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career, Flaviu has assisted Romanian and international investors in significant projects in the procurement, development and operation of residential, office, retail and logistics projects as well as in conventional, renewable, nuclear, thermal and waste.
At the same time, Sebastian Botic joins the Real Estate team as an associate lawyer. Sebastian specializes in built environment planning, real estate, construction and infrastructure, as well as litigation for these specializations. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, he was an in-house attorney for one of NTT Data's leading provider of software solutions and services in Romania. He also worked for nine years as an architect and urban planner. He is a Ph.D. in Architecture and Philosophy and has been a lecturer at numerous specialized conferences. He is also the author and co-author of books and articles for well-known publications in Romania, both in law, urbanism and architecture. Sebastian is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association, a member of the Romanian Urban Planners' Register (RUR) and member of the Regional Studies Association.
