Tuca Zbarcea si Asociatii has made 11 internal promotions as part of its annual performance review conducted between November and December 2014. Hence, the Romanian law firm has expanded its leadership team, Sebastian Radocea joining the firm's partnership rank, and it has upgraded another 10 lawyers to various positions. The appointments are effective from January 1, 2015.
Sebastian Radocea has become partner with Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii, increasing the firm's total number of partners to 25. Specialized in energy law, M&A and corporate law, Radocea has been practicing law for the past 15 years and he has been involved in major projects in the energy and natural resources field, such as the privatization of electricity distribution companies. He also assisted several private investors in connection with the development, operation, acquisition and/or sale of photovoltaic projects. Currently, he is involved in the implementation of energy efficiency projects in the public sector.
Along with Radocea, another 10 lawyers have been advanced to the role of Managing Associate or Senior Associate across the law firm's litigation & arbitration, corporate & commercial, banking & finance, capital markets, PPP/ concessions or employment practice areas.
Thus, the new Managing Associates are Andreea Lisievici-Lefter, Patricia Enache, Mihai Ene și Dana Busini, while Olga Cobasneanu, Maxim Dogoter, Mariana Sturza, Ruxandra Nita, Ruxandra Frangeti și Alexandru Moldoveanu were promoted to Senior Associate.
“Strenghtening our team remains our main goal, even though it may seem pretentious or euphemistic”, said Florentin Tuca, Managing Partner and Founder of Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii. He also emphasized that human resource is their most valuable asset and that this promotion round recognizes the professional performance, the experience acquired or merits of their younger colleagues.
At the beginning of this year, three new partners joined Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii management team, whilst ten lawyers were upgraded to higher ranks as part of another promotion round. The law firm now comprises over 170 lawyers and employees, and the leadership team will grow to 25 partners as of January 1, 2015.
