Starting from September 1, 2022, Sorin Biban becomes a Partner of the tax practice within the Biriș Goran law firm. With over 15 years of experience in aspects related to taxation and taxation, Sorin is one of the oldest members of the Tax practice, being a highly valued specialist in VAT matters in Romania. The professional activity of Sorin Biban, which the newly conferred quality of Partner recognizes, has multiple valences – consultancy and representation on indirect and direct taxation, coordination of complex projects involving administrative or tax disputes, participation in the legislative process in the tax field , but also speaker activity at events dedicated to the regulation of the tax field. 

Sorin is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Sciences and holds a master's degree in tax law awarded by the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law, and is an active member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants, of the Tax Committee of the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce, bodies within which he made a significant contribution to the amendment of the Fiscal Code and the Fiscal Procedure Code.
