Schoenherr și Asociații SCA, has recently announced a significant round of promotions effective 1 February 2025. The highlight of this promotion cycle is Monica Cojocaru’s elevation to partner in the international structure of the Schoenherr Group. Having previously held the role of local partner in the Bucharest office since 2013, Monica Cojocaru brings 23 years of legal experience to the table. She is recognized for her work in corporate/M&A and energy law, having successfully advised on numerous high-stakes transactions and investments locally and internationally.
Currently, more than half of the Bucharest office’s partners are part of the group’s international structure, highlighting the firm’s dedication to cross-border collaboration and global expertise.
The promotions also include the advancement of three dynamic legal professionals to the role of senior attorney at law, each excelling in specialized practice areas:
Loredana Barbu (senior attorney at law, banking & finance) has been a lawyer since 2019 and a member of Schoenherr's specialized banking & finance team since 2022.
Francesca Buta (senior attorney at law, banking & finance) has been a lawyer since 2019 and joined Schoenherr in 2021 as part of the banking & finance team.
Alexandra Păduraru (senior attorney at law, labour & employment) has been a lawyer since 2018 and joined Schoenherr's employment law team in 2023.
