Mușat & Asociații was conferred the “Deal of the year 2017 in Romania” award at the CEE Legal Matters awards banquet, one of the most prominent European debate and networking events for legal practitioners.

The “Deal of the year 2017 in Romania” award was conferred for one of the most important client matters of the previous year, the acquisition of A&D Pharma by Max/Penta Investments. Mușat & Asociații lawyers assisted Penta Investments, a leader in the European pharmaceutical distribution market, in connection with the latter’s acquisition of the Romanian distribution market leader in the same sector, A&D Pharma. The said acquisition, estimated at over EUR 300 million, was recognized by the business publications as the largest private deal of the year. 

The award managed to reinforce the high quality of legal services rendered by Mușat & Asociații law firm, which remains a reference business law firm in Romania, after in the previous year it had won “The largest deal in the energy sector” award, as well as “The largest deal in the HoReCa sector” award within the Lawyers’ Gala organised by Ziarul Financiar.
