Duncea, Stefanescu & Asociatii appointed Ioana Sarbu as Partner, Head of the newly established DS Tax Advisory Services following the announcement about the disaffiliation from the the audit and financial advisory firm Mazars.

Tax advisor, member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Advisors, with more than 11 years of professional experience, Ioana Sarbu had previously served as Senior Tax Manager at EY and Mazars.
Over the years, she has advised on various tax and financial accounting matters including: direct and indirect taxation, tax structuring in mergers and acquisitions, support in relation to the tax authorities and representation in tax inspections.
Ioana Sarbu has also coordinated reorganization procedures, and tax and financial due diligence, her portfolio of clients comprising IT companies, car dealers and importers, travel agencies, banks and financial institutions, retailers, as well as companies operating in wood, furniture or agriculture sectors.
