Biriş Goran promoted a new real estate partner, Sorin Aungurenci, who joined the team since the foundation of the company in 2006 and contributed significantly to the recognition and consolidation of the top position of real estate practice. Biris Goran also promoted Roxana Guiman (Drilea) as the IP, IT & C Practitioner, Privacy & Data Protection Practitioner in recognition of solid experience in the field.

Sorin Aungurenci, the seventh partner of the company, has been a key member of the team and real estate practice since 2006. With more than 12 years of experience, Sorin has specialized in all aspects of real estate transactions, focusing on ownership and acquisition titles, construction legislation (including FIDIC contracts) as well as urban and regulatory issues. Among its clients are important investors, multinational companies and local developers. Sorin graduated from the University of Amsterdam, Faculty of International Law and Law (LL.M., 2011), with a focus on real estate contracts applied in different European jurisdictions.

Roxana Guiman (Drilea) joined Biriş Goran in December 2012 and, as a senior lawyer, mainly provides assistance in IP, IT & C, Privacy & Data Protection. Its activity covers a wide range of legal services, including labor law, corporate law, or the preparation of commercial contracts in various fields. Roxana has been involved in various due diligence projects for investment and has provided assistance in various procurement, software licensing, copyrights, service contracts, terms of use, and privacy policies for various types of applications, platforms or web sites as well as other issues related to licensing and trademarks. 

Roxana is the expert of our Privacy & Data Protection team, having strong experience in analyzing regulations and compliance with data collection and processing in a variety of industries, with a focus on the digital area.

Prior to joining Biriş Goran, Roxana worked as a Oracle Senior Contracts Specialist both in Romania and Oracle in London, being involved in various major transactions with some of the most important players in the telecommunications and banking sectors from the Europe-Middle-Africa region.
