360Competition, the competition law boutique providing legal services exclusively in the areas of competition law and state aid, announced Andrei Georgescu is joining the team as a Partner.
During his 14 years of experience, Andrei Georgescu specialized in representing clients before the Romanian Competition Council (RCC) and the European Commission (EC), as well as in litigation cases concerning the annulment or suspension of decisions issued by the RCC or private damages litigation following a breach of competition rules. Andrei also has an excellent knowledge of energy markets, having successfully advised high profile clients in REMIT related investigations by both the Romanian energy regulator and the RCC.
Andrei has extensive expertise concerning IP, data protection, tech, and consumer protection. Throughout his career, Andrei has assisted clients form a wide array of sectors, including technology, finance, construction or the pharmaceutical field.
Before joining 360Competition, Andrei led an interdisciplinary practice group of a top tier local firm, coordinating some of the most high-profile IP, competition, consumer protection and tech projects. Moreover, Andrei is a Maastricht University certified DPO, as well as a counsellor registered with the Romanian Chamber of Industrial Property.
