Alexandru Reff has been appointed Country Managing Partner Deloitte Romania and Moldova, effective June 1st, 2017. He will succeed Ahmed Hassan, who takes on a regional leadership position.
Alexandru Reff is an attorney at law, founder of Reff & Associates, the law firm representing Deloitte Legal in Romania. He started his career in Deloitte in 1997 and served in various executive roles, including Tax and Legal Partner in Charge for a period of four years.

Ahmed Hassan will take on new regional responsibilities within Deloitte, as Central Europe Risk Leader and member of the Regional Executive Committee. During his mandate, Deloitte has seen a revenue increase from 22 million EUR year to more than 35 million EUR, almost 60% growth in six years. The firm’s current leadership team is represented by 17 Partners and 35 senior executives, while the firm’s headcount doubled to almost 700 people and the service portfolio expanded.
Reff & Associates will be led by Andrei Burz-Pînzaru, Partner, heading the firm’s banking and securities practice, while Alex Reff continues to support clients in M&A and real estate Andrei is an attorney at law with 20 years of multidisciplinary advisory experience in Banking, Capital Markets and M&A. He joined Deloitte in 2002 and is recognized as a leading lawyer by prestigious international directories.
