Nyerges & Partners successfully assisted R.Power Renewables in achieving an important milestone by successfully participating in Romania's first Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction. 

R.Power was awarded a Contract for Difference for 5 photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 85 MWp, out of the 11 photovoltaic projects that were successful in the auction. 

The legal team has advised R.Power on a full range of CfD-related matters including the functioning and mechanics of the scheme, the terms of the CfD contract, the auction rules, resolving "company in distress" matters, bid bonds and preparing the CfD applications. 

The team was led by Mihaela Nyerges (Managing Partner) and included Larisa-Alexandra Nicolae (Senior Associate) and Radu-Andrei Dăncău (Junior Associate).
