Assisted INVL Renewable Energy Fund I in the acquisition of a 71.04 MW photovoltaic project under development in Bratovoesti, Dolj County. Conducted thorough buyer due diligence, identifying real estate issues due to the project’s development across multiple plots. Assisted INVL Renewable Energy Fund I to finance the construction of solar power plants with a total capacity of 51 MW in Romania through a €25 million cross border financing from Kommunalkredit Austria.

Assisted Ferratum Romania IFN in relation to all the obligations to be observed from regulatory perspective (especially in connection with NBR and other institutions).

Assisted Ferratum Bank PLC with the procedure of cross border provision of banking services, according to Romanian legislation.

Represented two (2) important Romanian banks in various litigation regarding abusive clauses from the perspective of customer protection legislation and the execution of loan agreements.

Assisted Alive Energy SRL & Premier Energy PLC in acquiring an operational 18 MW wind farm project, composed of three separate farms, and a future 8 MW development project. The team ensured a smooth acquisition by navigating regulatory requirements, including the transfer of permits and contracts, and adapting to legislative changes during the process. Despite tight deadlines and challenging negotiations, the team’s deep understanding of energy law and regulatory frameworks ensured compliance and facilitated a successful transaction. The acquisition resulted in the addition of one of Romania’s most profitable renewable energy projects to the client's portfolio.

Advised INVL Renewable Energy Fund I for the financing of five solar power plants with a total capacity of 51 MW in Romania. The team played a key role in securing the projects, navigating complex construction financing arrangements, and ensuring successful execution. With extensive expertise in energy projects, the team provided invaluable guidance during lengthy negotiations and the signing of financing documentation. This represented the first cross-border financing of a renewable energy project in Romania and marked the second wave of renewable energy developments in the country.

These lands are secured for 10 solar PV projects totaling 620 MWp across 8 counties, and an onshore wind project of 43 MW in Galati County. The support covered all real estate aspects related to renewable energy development, including negotiating superficies agreements with landowners. The team consistently provided tailored solutions, helping the client achieve its strategic and commercial goals while addressing the needs and expectations of all involved parties.

Assisted AJ Renewables in the sale of a 292 MW solar project in Butimanu, Dambovita County, one of Romania’s largest photovoltaic projects. The team provided comprehensive real estate support, including due diligence on land rights, urbanism, and zoning compliance. The team’s expertise was crucial in mitigating risks and structuring a successful transaction, addressing both the project’s scale and applicable urbanism legislation. This support played a key role in the successful sale of the project.
