Wolf Theiss assisted Symfonia in its successful acquisition of Softeh Plus S.R.L., a Romanian company specialized in ERP software solutions for healthcare businesses, as well as the major technology enabler for many Romanian private medical services providers and largest pharmacy networks. Through this acquisition, Symfonia enters the Romanian market and makes a first strategic step in its journey of becoming a regional leader in ERP for Small and Medium Business in CEE by organic growth and M&A add-ons.
Symfonia is one of the leading providers of ERP software to accounting offices and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Poland including financial management, payroll, HCM solutions as well dedicated industry solutions. It’s backed up by MidEuropa Partners and Accel-KKR and plans to become a regional leader.
The Wolf Theiss' Corporate/M&A team, coordinated by Partner Ileana Glodeanu and Counsel Mihai Coadă, provided legal advice throughout all stages of the transaction to Symfonia, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating the share purchase agreement and other transactional documentation for this successful deal, governed by Romanian law.Additionally, Wolf Theiss involved a wider team from several practice groups: Data Protection, IP & TMT - Counsel Flavius Florea and Associate Nina Lazăr; Employment - Associates Ioana Iacob and Mădălina Paladi; Real Estate - Counsel Dana Toma; Corporate / M&A - Associate Vlad Catană; and Banking & Finance - Senior Associate Andreea Tudorache.
