Schoenherr advised the founders of Calla Oradea, an infertility diagnosis and treatment centre, on the sale of a majority stake in the clinic to Integral Capital Group.
The transaction reflects growing investor interest in niche, high-value medical segments in the Romanian healthcare sector, as well as a broader trend of private equity capital supporting the expansion of the country's private healthcare providers.
"We are delighted to have supported Calla Oradea's founders in this transaction, which marks an important milestone for both the business and the continued growth of Romania's private healthcare sector," said partner Mădălina Neagu, who led the Schoenherr team advising on this transaction.
Calla Oradea is a specialised medical clinic providing advanced services in infertility diagnosis and treatment, including in vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedures. The clinic is among the few medical centres nationwide offering comprehensive reproductive health solutions.
Integral Capital Group is an independent private equity and growth-capital investment firm focused on small and medium-sized companies across Central and South-Eastern Europe and the Adriatic region. It invests mainly in healthcare, technology/ media/ telecom, consumer, business services and niche industrials.
The Schoenherr team advising the seller in this transaction was led by Mădălina Neagu (partner) and included Alina Cristea (senior attorney at law), Mihaela Popescu (managing attorney at law) and Ștefan Popa (attorney at law).
