Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partners announced a promotion class consisting of eight lawyers, following the annual performance evaluation process of the team.

The firm has promoted Andra Constantinescu and Lidia Trandafir to the position of Managing Associate, and Alexandra Nania, Alina Cristea, Andreea Șuță, Andrei Ghiță, Dragoș Zamfir and Ion-Gabriel Enache to Senior Associates, effective March 1, 2021.

Andra Constantinescu’s main area of practice is dispute resolution. She assists clients in both international arbitration proceedings held under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce and the Court of International Commercial Arbitration (Bucharest) and in disputes before national courts of law.

Her arbitration practice focuses on construction disputes deriving mainly from the performance of FIDIC works contracts, but also from other contracts concluded in areas such as energy, privatization and real estate. 

Lidia Trandafir’s main practice areas are real estate, commercial matters, M & A, employment. Lidia has a hands-on approach and has been involved and coordinated major real-estate projects, including legal transactions of sale or acquisition of properties, lease of office buildings, logistic parks and commercial centers.

Alexandra Nania has developed a significant practice in the data privacy field, in line with the recent changes introduced by the GDPR Regulation. She provides specific assistance to leading Romanian companies, covering all aspects related to data privacy. Alexandra focuses also on day-to-day assistance in corporate matters, advising on various labor and employment and intellectual property issues.

Alina Cristea has a wide range of experience across corporate transactional and advisory work including in M&A and in particular takeovers, focusing on due diligence reports on the targets, implementation of pre-transaction measures and legal advice on post-acquisition matters. 

Andreea Șuță is a corporate lawyer focusing on general corporate and commercial transactions across industries, real estate and employment law. 

Andrei Ghiță specializes in contentious-administrative law, contract law and construction disputes. Throughout his career he has gained extensive experience in projects related to the recovery of bad debts (account receivables) both in insolvency and enforcement proceedings. 

Dragoș Zamfir is specialized in civil and commercial disputes, including contract disputes, real estate litigation and disputes regarding the energy market, assisting and representing clients in front of the ordinary courts as well as arbitration courts. 

Ion-Gabriel Enache regularly advises and assists clients on matters relating to civil and administrative litigation. He is also an experienced counsel in various constitutional, administrative and European Union law related disputes.
