Wolf Theiss expands its competition practice by recruiting a new Partner, Anca Jurcovan, within its Bucharest team. Anca will coordinate and strengthen the competition practice of Wolf Theiss in Romania.

Anca Jurcovan is a well-known competition lawyer, with extensive experience gained over the last 14 years by assisting top clients in investigations conducted by the Competition Council in Romania, as well as in competition litigation. Her activity focuses on aspects of competition, intellectual property and technology, being also involved in consulting on the complex and innovative structuring of contracts. Anca's expertise extends to consumer protection, unfair business practices, e-commerce and personal data protection issues in various industries, including telecommunications, retail, energy, financial and pharmaceutical services.
Prior to joining the Wolf Theiss team, Anca has worked with Țucă Zbârcea & Asociaţii law firm since 2005. Clients and colleagues recommend her as an innovative competition lawyer, constantly mentioned in the main international directors.
Anca Jurcovan holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. She also graduated from King's College London with two Diplomas in Competition Law and Economics in Competition Law.
