Duncea, Stefanescu & Asociatii law firm has expanded its top management team by promoting Denisa Benga and Marius Dumitru to partners, while Matei Dimoftache has been upgraded to Managing Associate.

Denisa Benga heads the Competition practice within the firm, specializing in competition law, but also having an extensive experience of more than ten years in complementary fields like M&A, litigation and arbitration.

We are pleased to announce these promotions, which came naturally, as a result of their merits: they have successfully passed the professional maturity tests and have grown patiently, having a decisive contribution tot the development of the areas of practice of the firm. The other new partner, Marius Dumitru, coordinates the Insolvency & Restructuring Department. He has acquired a vast professional experience, over ten years, in commercial law, mainly in insolvency and bankruptcy areas of practice.

Also an experienced lawyer with a career of over 15 years, Matei Dimoftache's expertise focuses on banking and insurance law, the coordination of the law firm's Banking & Finance Department being his responsibility.

Duncea, Stefanescu & Associates’ team led by the two founding partners, Adriana Duncea and Cosmin Stefanescu comprises 16 members whose areas of expertise include corporate and commercial law, M&A, banking and finance, real estate and construction or litigation, among others, plus the Tax Advisory team coordinated by Ioana Sarbu.
