Giovanni Pometti, coordinator of the Italian Desk at Cumpănașu Partners

Cumpănașu Partners law firm consolidates the legal consultancy services dedicated to the Italian investors in Romania by opening a dedicated Italian Desk. The new department, already working for a few months, is led by Giovanni Pometti, an Italian lawyer present in Romania for more than 10 years, specialized in international arbitration, international commercial disputes, energy, M&A and commercial law.

“The opening of the Italian Desk in the second part of the last year, at the same time I arrived at Cumpănașu Partners, strengthens an experience and a working style already refined in years of collaboration with Italian investors. I found here lawyers with excellent Italian language, habits and culture knowledge, capable to offer the neccesary support for the Italian clients, in their native language. An Italian Desk will enhance more efficiently all this activities dedicated to the Italian clients and will develop more future projects in this area. Giovanni Pometti has a BA in Law from University of Pavia (Italy) and a LLM Diploma in International Arbitration from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. Before joining our team, he worked as lawyer and legal consultant for important law firms in Romania and abroad and also for Romanian based investment companies.
