Eversheds Sutherland Romania announced that it has assisted Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) in successfully completing the sale of the 54% stake in Telekom Romania Communications to Orange Romania. This final stage takes place two months after the European Commission has approved the acquisition.

Eversheds Sutherland Romania assisted OTE throughout the entire process, starting from the due diligence phase to the negotiation of the sale-purchase agreement and all the closing stages. The project was coordinated by Managing Partner Cristian Lina, while the team also included Partner Carolina Baloleanu, Senior Associate Irina Stoicescu and Associate Livia Țucă.
