Bondoc și Asociații team has advised in relation to all Romanian law aspects regarding the transaction whereby PPF Group N.V. acquired Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (CME) that operates television stations including PRO TV. The acquisition was implemented within a regional transaction amounting to US dollar 2.1 billion. The assistance mainly consisted in a complex due diligence work involving the Romanian assets, advice in connection with the transaction documentation and the fulfilment of the conditions precedent to completion. Bondoc și Asociații is also assisting on the financing part of the project.

The assistance has been coordinated by managing partner Lucian Bondoc along partners Bogdan Bunrau (M&A) and Monica Iancu (telecommunication, regulatory), while involving over 18 specialized lawyers and several other partners (partners Mihaela Bondoc, Viorel Dinu, Diana Ispas, Simona Petrișor and Raluca Voinescu).
