After selecting the first Romanian President of Insol Europe, the European Forum chooses its East-European event coordinator also from among CITR specialists.

Niculina Șomlea, member in the Professional Training and Auditing Department in CITR is to coordinate the East-European events organized by the European Forum of Insolvency Practitioners as of May 2018. She was chosen by the vote of the members in the East European Committee, the largest group of the forum, which is representative for the Balkans. The appointment of the new event manager of the Forum stems from the success she had in coordinating the projects developed by INSOL Europe in Romania: the annual conference organized last year in Cluj and the educational project that is to take place this year in Bucharest.

Hence, Niculina Șomlea will impose her vision upon the educational project strategy developed by INSOL Europe and will become the second Romanian specialist chosen by insolvency practitioners to occupy a key position in the organization.

Radu Lotrean will be the first Romanian President of INSOL Europe and is to take over from Steffen Koch this year as of the beginning of October.

Niculina Șomlea, an MA in Legal Sciences graduate at the Pantheon Assas University in Paris and has a vast and complex experience in the area of insolvency. At present, she contributes to the ongoing professional experience of CITR specialists and performs the internal audit programs in our company.

INSOL Europe is the European professional organization of insolvency practitioners and administration specialists. Founded in 1981 in France, it has more than 1150 members in 48 countries. The Forum assumed the mission to facilitate the exchange of information, ideas and good practices and to increase collaboration with other European institutions of the same profile as well as other relevant international institutions.
